Recipients of Academy, Emmy, AACTA, ASSG and APRA/AGSC awards, and lecturers at AIM, SAE and The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, our members operate independently but when necessary collaborate to offer an unparalleled and comprehensive screen, music and sound service.
The facilities boast a huge assortment of western and exotic instruments, including a Blüthner grand piano and four uprights, Conn Church Organ, Hammond and Wurlitzer Electric Organs, a collection of vintage Chord Organs, a Harmonium, Moog theremin, vintage vibraphone, Chinese and Irish harp and a fine selection of basses, guitars, vintage and cutting edge microphones, amps, outboard gear, all combined with a chilled collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.
We have a direct fibre internet connection meaning crazy speeds over 900 Mbps up and down, perfect for streaming, remote recording, skype briefs and superfast final deliveries.
For emerging and re-emerging screen composers we run a generous residency program and many of our rooms are wheelchair accessible. We champion gender equity and strive to make our workplace safe, friendly, productive and empowering.
Church Street Studios acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land we occupy, the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
