With over 20 permanently tenanted studios under one roof, ranging from personal composing suites to large, traditional recording studios, we also feature a 60-seat live music venue with gigs most weekends.  Our members are recipients of Academy, Emmy, ARIA, AACTA, ASSG, and APRA/AGSC awards and nominations. Additionally, we offer a hirable guest composer’s suite for short term projects.

We have fibre to the building meaning net speeds over 900 Mbps up and down, perfect for streaming, remote recording, skype briefs and superfast final deliveries.

For emerging and re-emerging screen composers we run a generous residency program. We champion gender equity, support marginalized communities, and strive to make our workplace safe, friendly, productive, and empowering.

Church Street Studios acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work, the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
